How Oneiro uses AI

Oneiro is built on AI models. They are good at turning words into images and stories, and they are often wrong. Here is what each one does, what it sees, and what it cannot do.

What the AI does

Your voice becomes text with a speech-to-text model (Whisper, run by Groq). You can edit the text before you keep it.
The reading, title, mood and dream signs come from a language model run by Groq. It reads the dream text you kept.
The dream chat is the same kind of model, answering from what is in that one dream.
The 3D objects are made by Tripo from a short English description of each thing in your dream.
The places, when available, will be made by World Labs from a short description of where the dream happened.

Providers get only what they need for their step, and only to return the result to us. We do not use your dreams to train models. Details on retention and transfers are in the privacy policy.

Limits

Readings are possibilities, not answers. No one, human or machine, can tell you for certain what a dream means.
Objects can be wrong. A model may misread a word, merge two things, or get the size, colour or shape off.
It is not therapy. The dream guide is an AI. It does not diagnose, treat or replace a professional.
It can repeat biases present in what the models learned from. Tell us when it does.

If a dream or the chat touches something heavy

If you write or say that you want to hurt yourself or end your life, Oneiro stops reading the dream (the chat, the walking guide and the reading of a new world all stop) and points you to people who can help; the diary still keeps what you wrote, and shows the same lines: in Brazil the CVV on 188 (free, 24 hours), in the United States 988, and anywhere else the lines listed at findahelpline.com. If you are in danger right now, call your local emergency number.

How AI content is labelled

Every world page, including a gift, says it is an AI-generated world, and the dream chat introduces itself as an AI dream guide. The 3D files we store also carry a machine-readable note naming the model that made them, so the label travels with the file.

Who owns what

Your dream text is yours. You can use the worlds Oneiro makes for you personally and share them with gift links. The full rules, including what the AI providers allow, are in the terms.
